The Moinian Group inks 16,000 s/f
of new leases at 72 Madison Ave.

Manhattan, NY The Moinian Group has signed 16,000 s/f of new office leases at 72 Madison Ave. in Midtown South with Oso Security, Doing Things and Direct Books.

“72 Madison Ave. is a state-of-the-art building in the premier location of Midtown South, and we are proud to continue to see new leases and renewals coming to fruition at the building,” said Gregg Weisser, executive managing director of commercial and retail real estate at The Moinian Group.

The newly signed leases consist of:

• Oso Security, the platform that provides authorization as a service, signed a lease for the entire second floor of the building. Resolution Real Estate Partners represented Oso in the transaction. The Moinian Group was represented by Newmark.

• Doing Things, the online audio and video company, signed a lease renewal for the entire fifth floor of the building. CB Commercial Real Estate represented Doing Things in the transaction. The Moinian Group was represented by Weisser.

• DirectBooks, the platform designed to manage primary market issuance communication, signed a lease for the entire eleventh floor of the building. DirectBooks was represented by RDE Advisors in the transaction. The Moinian Group was represented by Weisser.

Designed by George Pelham, 72 Madison Ave. is a property that offers tenants multiple desirable amenities, including hardwood floors, exposed ceilings along with an upgraded and designed lobby, 24/7 video surveillance, 24/7 access, full-floor spaces, open lofts, and daytime reception. Located between 27th and 28th Sts., 72 Madison is a 12-story loft office building located one block from Madison Square Park, which offers proximity to restaurants, hotels and shopping.
