Long Island City, NY The Domain Companies, LMXD, the VOREA Group, and Bridge Investment Group launched residential leasing for 499 apartments at Jasper, a mixed-use development. The kickoff of Jasper’s market-rate leasing follows Jasper’s affordable housing lottery, which received thousands of applicants for 150 apartments (30% of the total units) set aside for those making 130% area median income. Studios through three-bedroom apartments are available for rent at Jasper, and resident move-ins will begin in spring 2025. Good Company, a Domain affiliate that offers a comprehensive slate of vertically integrated planning, leasing, marketing, and management services, is driving leasing at Jasper in-house.

“From the wide variety of retailers in Jasper’s ground floor to the lush outdoor courtyards on its rooftops, every detail at Jasper has been meticulously curated to offer a unique, holistic living experience for its residents,” said Matt Schwartz, co-CEO of The Domain Companies. “The launch of residential leasing is an important milestone for Jasper, and we are excited to take another step toward welcoming tenants into this project that we have designed with a vibrant residential community in mind.”

Jasper offers residents amenities throughout the building. These include access to multiple outdoor terraces, a pool, fitness equipment and classes, a yoga studio, bike storage, multiple landscaped courtyards, a game room, package lockers, personal storage, dedicated outdoor dining and BBQ areas, a residential lounge and demonstration kitchen, co-working space, green roofs, and 112 parking spaces. The development will pursue LEED platinum certification and participate in the New York State Brownfield Cleanup Program.

Jasper’s ground floor comprises 33,000 s/f of retail space. Igloo, as the broker, has already curated several retail tenants to provide an optimal spread of resources to the building and neighborhood. The tenants already signed include Dumbo Market, a grocery store; Bright Start, a Queens-based early childhood development center; Club Pilates, the world’s largest premium boutique Pilates brand; Glowbar, a facial membership studio; Frankie’s Brooklyn Pizza, a pizzeria; Tiger J Taekwondo, a dojo; and Matsuzuki Sakura, a sushi restaurant.

Each residence includes quartz countertops and backsplashes, Energy Start appliances including an integrated dishwasher, a Bosch washer and dryer, Level Smart Home System, and solar shades. Select residences include a quartz waterfall-edge kitchen island, a private terrace, a customized closet buildout, window treatments for privacy. An exclusive selection of units called ‘The Collection,’ feature motorized shades, dimmer switches, enhanced lighting, and upgraded tile finishes.

In the heart of Long Island City along 5th St. between 50th Ave. and 49th Ave., Jasper is a joint venture between The Domain Companies, LMXD, the VOREA Group, and Bridge Investment Group. S9 Architecture is the architect, and Husband Wife is the interior designer.

Located just half a block from Gantry State Park, Jasper has close proximity to a combination of transportation options, including Long Island City's seven subway lines (7, E, N, G, W, R, F).
