Syska Hennessy promotes seven senior staff members

Manhattan, NY Syska Hennessy Group, the international engineering firm, has promoted seven senior staff members. The group represents four different offices within the U.S.

The promoted staff members include:

• Darren Alfano, CPA (NY), from associate partner to associate principal. Alfano, who serves as Syska’s chief financial officer, has more than 25 years of experience in financial strategy, operations and performance, ensuring accountability and growth. 

• Michelle Galindez, LEED AP (NY), from director of marketing & communications to chief marketing officer. Galindez has over 25 years of leadership in marketing and communications. She leads Syska’s marketing team, driving branding, proposal development, communications, events, and publications to strengthen the organization’s visibility and influence.

• Timothy Krawetz, PE, LEED AP (NY), from senior principal to executive principal. Krawetz has more than 35 years of experience in the planning, design, construction administration and peer review of healthcare, laboratory and research, commercial tenant interiors, and building fit-out and infrastructure projects.

• Andrew Krenning (Boston, MA), from associate partner to associate principal.  Krenning has nearly 20 years of leadership and technical experience in the technology space. As managing director of our Boston office, he guides overall strategy and operations, driving performance and growth.

• Frederick Noel (Atlanta, GA), from associate partner to associate principal. Noel has more than 30 years of experience in overseeing IT operations in complex, high-performance environments. As director of IT, he leads the corporate IT department’s strategy, direction, and goals, and he also plays a pivotal role in the firm’s Innovations subsidiary, evaluating and implementing emerging technology.

• Richard Nowak (NY), from associate principal to principal. Nowak serves as Syska’s national director of business development.  In this role he brings extensive expertise in business development and strategic partnerships to lead partner engagement, opportunity development, and market expansion.

• Joseph Romano, PE (Chicago, IL), from associate partner to associate principal. Romano has over 20 years of electrical engineering and project management experience, with specializations in aviation and in codes, standards, and regulatory requirements related to power, lighting, and fire alarm system design.
