Manhattan, NY Rudin, a full-service real estate organization and one of New York City’s largest private owners, operators and developers of first-class real estate, inked a 10.5-year retail lease with global jewelry brand Pandora Ventures LLC (Pandora) to create a new retail store at 3 Times Square, Rudin’s tower in the heart of Midtown.
As the world’s largest jewelry brand, Pandora will welcome fans to a prominent storefront on Seventh Ave. between 42nd and 43rd St. The shop, which will encompass 4,107 s/f, is set to open in late 2026.
Pandora will join a long and growing list of international brands with an active presence in Times Square, one of the world’s most trafficked retail destinations by foot traffic and spending volume. According to the Times Square Alliance, the area averages over 250,000 visitors daily and accounts for $10 billion in annual retail, restaurants, entertainment and hotel sales, with 15 cents of every dollar spent by NYC visitors going to the neighborhood.
“We are proud to welcome Pandora to 3 Times Square. They are joining an elite group of beloved, globally recognized brands that have created locations at the crossroads of the world,” said Michael Rudin, co-CEO of Rudin. “This commitment from Pandora, which recently established its North American headquarters in Times Square, is a true testament to their long-term dedication to Times Square.”
“Times Square has been home to our North American headquarters since 2023 so opening our newest retail location right here at 3 Times Square feels like a natural next step,” said Sabri Latrech, vice president, NAM Real Estate. “Following the success of our Times Square pop-up, we’re thrilled to make Times Square a permanent location for fans to discover and experience Pandora.”
Originally constructed and opened in 2001, Rudin and its joint venture partner Thomson Reuters recently completed a sweeping capital improvement program at 3 Times Square. The redevelopment of the 30-story, 925,000 s/f tower included a new, glass-walled triple-height lobby and a sculptural façade screen that serves as a decorative architectural enhancement.
Notable office tenants include Spectrum Reach, Remy Cointreau and Anchin, Block & Anchin. Rudin also partnered with Touro University approach to create a new consolidated campus for the university within the tower.
Rudin was represented by its in-house leasing team along with Darrell Rubens of Newmark. Pandora was represented by David Berke of CBRE in the transaction.
