Rose Associates hires Ackerman as managing director of acquisitions

Manhattan, NY Rose Associates, Inc., has hired Daniel Ackerman to act as managing director of acquisitions.

Ackerman joins Rose with a focus on advancing the company’s commitment to being one of the premier investment, development and management firms in the New York City Metro market. As managing director of acquisitions, he will help lead Rose’s investment strategy as the firm continues to acquire existing properties and form new joint ventures. 

 Ackerman was most recently a principal at Prospect Capital Management, a multi-billion dollar, multi-strategy alternative investment firm. He also acted as chief operating officer of Prospect’s wholly-owned REIT, National Property REIT Corp. During his career, Ackerman has closed equity investments totaling more than $2 billion of real estate nationwide.
