Retail by Mona celebrates over 300 deals executed since 2020 founding by Singer and Cody

New York, NY Retail by MONA has reached a milestone, over 300 deals executed across all categories. MONA, co-founded by CEO, Brandon Singer and head of operations, Michael Cody, in 2020 was launched during the height of the pandemic at a time when retail deals were non-existent. Singer has since grown the company to more than 30 professionals and has signed over 300 deals throughout New York City.

Since launch, MONA’s key deals have included: Goyard’s relocation at 699 Madison Ave., Gucci (45 Ninth Ave.), Luisaviaroma’s first U.S. location at 1 Bond St., Charles Tyrwhitt (477 Madison Ave.), Nike (216 Lafayette St.), Breitling (875 Washington St.), Fusalp (713 Madison Ave.), Flight Club (31 Union Sq. West) Cha Cha Matcha (461 Fifth Ave.) and Padel House (301 Kent Ave.).

MONA has seen extreme growth in the luxury retail space. In 2024, MONA placed iconic luxury brand, Goyard, in its new prime retail space at 699 Madison Ave. The 9,000 s/f space houses both Goyard’s retail footprint as well as its corporate offices. The relocation to this larger prime Madison Avenue space with greater frontage and visibility has allowed the iconic brand to establish itself as more in line with its peers. The historic block, which reflects the true heritage of Goyard is newly home to several well-established luxury brands including Hermes (706 Madison) and Van Cleef & Arpels (690 Madison).

The team’s key hires include Virginia Pittarelli and team, Eric Le Goff, as well as Alexandra Turboff and team. In addition, MONA has launched its open air shopping center division, luxury division, as well as exponentially expanded its food & beverage division.

Singer said, “We launched MONA at a time when no one believed in the retail market. Less than five years later, we have over 300 deals under our belt, have launched several new divisions with over thirty professionals. This is a key time in the retail market and we are thrilled to be leading the renaissance with much more to come.”
