PWC hosts Roundtable Discussion: Johnson Controls & MWBE Opportunities

New York, NY On Thursday, July 15, 2021, PWC along with the MWBE Committee hosted the Roundtable Discussion: Johnson Controls and MWBE Opportunities. This was a virtual event that included a presentation by Johnson Controls (JCI) focusing on JCI procurement process for MWBE’s, tips for completing the procurement application and best practices for connecting with JCI, followed by a Q & A. And the participants were:

  • Wassem Sadeddin, JCI NYC procurement manager.

The roundtable covered the following topics: Johnson Controls’ 3 channels of business; how to capture information, MWBE must belong to one of 3 organizations; JCI highlighted what areas of business they need more contacts in; JCI discussed some of the geographical limitations and where more MWBEs are needed.

The PWC MWBE Committee mission is to foster relationships between our MWBE members and to create opportunities for introductions to other firms within the AEC industry, public agencies and authorities.
