PWC honors group of women at Salute luncheon on May 16th
"PWC takes pride in applauding the leadership of the women honored today," said Barbara Armand, president of Armand Corp. and the chair of the annual Salute luncheon held on May 16th, at The Yale Club. PWC president Lenore Janis cheered all honorees and presenters.
Gary LaBarbera, president, NYC Building & Construction Trades Council, presented the award to Linda Camacho who has served the council for 27 years. He noted that 15 national and international unions with a membership of over 100,000 represent a $30 billion industry.
Gary Taylor, managing director, Brevet Capital, presented the award to his wife, Faith Taylor, senior VP, Sustainability & Innovation, Wyndham Worldwide. She noted that the sustainability program she launched in 2006 now serves over 100,000 sites in 100 countries.
Richard Kennedy, co-COO, Skanska USA Building, introduced Skanska USA's Lynn Shavelson, corporate counsel and ethics and compliance officer. Shavelson expressed her pride in being "with a company that continually strives to be the best corporate citizen."
Howard Jacobowitz, Esq., partner, McDonough Law Firm LLP, introduced Lorraine D' Angelo, Esq., CCEP, senior VP, ethics and compliance, for Dragados USA, Inc., and its affiliates and subsidiaries, calling her "a credit to the compliance world and the legal profession." D'Angelo thanked Dragados for its support.
Robert Donaldson, president, the Donaldson Org., called Barbara Lyons, the company's senior VP of sales & estimating "an inspiration to everyone." Douglas Donaldson, executive VP, was a co-presenter. Lyons said, "It's been a great learning experience."
