WEDLI hosts annual Women's History Month program - March 12

The Women Economic Developers of Long Island (WEDLI) hosted its annual Women's History Month program on March 12. The subject was "Power of the Press" with WEDLI president and moderator Ann Marie Scheidt (front). The panelists shown (from left) were Deborah Herman, publisher, Building Long Island; Christine Conniff Sheahan publisher/CEO Networking; Beverly Fortune publisher, Long Island Press and Rita Ciolli, editor, Newsday Editorial Pages. WEDLI is a not for profit organization whose goals are to foster economic development on Long Island. Its members are high-level decision-makers working either in economic development or in a company with impact on economic development. WEDLI, currently celebrating its 25th anniversary, meets every second Thursday at The Woodlands, 1 South Woods Road, Woodbury, LI.
