Brooklyn, NY Tishman Speyer announced an agreement with Pure Barre to open a new location at 11 Hoyt, its sold-out 481-unit luxury condominium tower that spans a full city block.

One of the largest and most established barre franchises, Pure Barre signed a 10-year lease to occupy a 1,517 s/f retail space featuring 18-foot ceilings and a prime mid-block location on Livingston Street. The studio will open in the fourth quarter of this year.

Completed in 2020, the 770,000 s/f tower is animated at street-level by an impressive array of retailers, including indoor golf experience Golfzon Social, fitness studio Solidcore, and early childhood education center Petits Poussins Too. Just two spaces within 11 Hoyt’s 40,000 s/f retail component remain available for lease.

“We are pleased to welcome Pure Barre to the curated roster of neighborhood amenities we have assembled at 11 Hoyt,” said Tishman Speyer senior director Reed Zukerman. “From its striking façade and stylish interior to its activated streetscape, we have designed and programmed 11 Hoyt to stand out and enhance the vibrant Downtown Brooklyn neighborhood that surrounds it.”

Designed by renowned architecture practice Studio Gang, 11 Hoyt’s distinctive scalloped façade rises 57 stories. Tishman Speyer has completed the sale of all 481 of 11 Hoyt’s luxury condominiums, which range in size from studios to four bedrooms and feature state-of-the-art finishes and inviting bay windows that fill each home with natural light. The tower also incorporates more than 55,000 s/f of indoor and outdoor amenities, creating an unmatched living experience. Residents enjoy access to the neighborhood’s many restaurants, shops, parks, cultural venues and mass transit options.
