The Everset begins new projects in three boroughs
Brooklyn/Queens/Manhattan, NY As demand continues to surge for design-forward, affordable staging solutions and move-in-ready residences across New York City, The Everset, co-founded by Gavin Steinberg and Jonathan Mitrani, is expanding its footprint with new projects in Brooklyn, Queens and Manhattan in partnership with The Brodsky Organization, Gotham Organization, and Carmel Partners.
“Our staging business has skyrocketed in the past three years,” said Mitrani. “We provide fast, affordable staging solutions for real estate agents, property owners and developers. Buyers and renters love the aesthetic of our stages - and best of all the furniture can be rented or purchased by the end user,” said Mitrani. “It’s a win-win that helps homes sell or rent faster and for more money.” According to the National Association of Realtors the ROI (return on investment) can range from five to 15 times the cost of the staging, depending on market conditions and property price.
In addition to staging, The Everset is seeing growing demand for fully furnished units – a trend Steinberg attributes to financial benefits and lifestyle choice. “Property owners are seeing up to a 30% increase in gross rent when showcasing a fully-furnished unit versus an unfurnished one, and residents love the ease and flexibility that furnished units provide,” Steinberg said.
Elsewhere in Brooklyn and Queens, The Everset staged multiple model units at Loden (54 Crown St.) and Lumen (23-15 44th Rd.) — both developed by Carmel Partners and now being offered as furnished rentals through MNS.
“At MNS, we focus on launching standout new developments — and first impressions are everything,” said Andrew Barrocas, CEO of MNS. “Our collaboration with The Everset has helped us furnish and lease or sell luxury residences faster, with furniture that’s beautifully curated and thoughtfully placed.”
Continuing its longstanding partnership with The Brodsky Organization, The Everset recently staged a model residence at 499 President St. to showcase the ease of renting a turn-key and fully furnished apartment, right down to the bedding. The property is a 350-unit luxury rental in Gowanus, Brooklyn.
“With The Everset, there’s no wasted time. Their service provides an unparalleled convenience for renters, allowing them to lease a home fully furnished in a snap,” said Joe Porritt, leasing director for Brodsky. “It’s exactly what today’s renters want and need — seamless, high-design living. That’s why we have expanded our partnership with The Everset to our newest luxury rental property, 499 President.”
The company has also staged over 50 townhouses across Brooklyn and Queens as part of a 100-home portfolio backed by an institutional investor. These two- and three-story residences, represented by The Harkov Lewis Team at Brown Harris Stevens, are being marketed individually, and are available with or without furnishings. Each home receives a custom staging plan tailored to its unique layout and design aesthetic, helping buyers connect with the space on a deeper level.
In Manhattan, The Everset recently completed 20 fully furnished residences at The Maybury, a new luxury residential development by Gotham Organization located along 10th Avenue in Hudson Yards. Executed with precision and speed, the project supported rapid lease-up efforts in one of NYC’s most competitive rental markets.
From luxury developments and executive crash pads, to student housing and pied-à-terres, The Everset continues to serve as a trusted, flexible partner for a wide range of residential and commercial clients. Longstanding relationships include Brown Harris Stevens — where The Everset designed the firm’s in-house podcast studio, Studio 1873 — and Stuyvesant Town–Peter Cooper Village, Madison Realty Capital, The Durst Organization, MNS, The Brooklyn Nets, among others.
The Everset has furnished thousands of residences and is known for transforming empty spaces into fully realized homes — accelerating lease-ups, elevating buyer perception, and driving stronger outcomes for developers and brokers alike.
