Filler Capital secures $78 million refinance <br>for Better Living Properties’ portfolio
Manhattan/Brooklyn, NY Filler Capital LLC has arranged a $78 million refinance for the Better Living Properties portfolio, a 204-unit collection of multifamily and mixed-use properties across Manhattan and Brooklyn, owned by Better Living principals Jonathan and Ariel Soudry. The financing, provided by Citi Group and led by Eric Mirvis and Joseph Dyckman, refinances an existing $70 million facility.
The portfolio features locations throughout the Lower East Side, East Village, and Brooklyn, with properties along Stanton St., Orchard St., Rivington, East Houston, East 7th St., Flatbush Ave., and Brighton 7th St.
Filler Capital wrapped the deal in 45 days, beating a pending loan maturity and executing one of the East Village’s largest refinances this year.
“This was a fast, highly complex transaction, and it came together because of our relationships and ability to move under pressure,” said Isaac Filler of Filler Capital, who led the financing alongside Michael Neumann and Yossi Koschitzki. “We paired a best-in-class sponsor with a top lender and got it done on the timeline our client needed.”
This marks Filler Capital’s second financing over $75 million in New York City in the past 30 days.
