Anthony appointed director of property management and real estate training at Neighborhood Housing Services New York City

Manhattan, NY Neighborhood Housing Services of New York City, Inc. (NHSNYC) has appointed Tywan Anthony as director of property management & real estate training. In this role, Anthony will lead the newly established property management and training division at NHSNYC, focusing on enhancing technical expertise, educational resources, and overall support for industry professionals, stakeholders, homeowners, business owners, and job seekers entering the real estate field.

Anthony brings experience to NHSNYC, having most recently served as commercial property manager at Kimco Realty, overseeing operations for some of the nation’s largest open-air shopping centers. Previously, he held roles as commercial property manager at RPAI (Retail Properties of America), managing grocery-anchored centers across the Northeast, and as a key manager at MBD Community Housing, responsible for diverse residential assets including affordable housing, market-rate units, and mixed-use developments.

Anthony is involved in industry organizations, including the Bedford Stuyvesant Real Estate Board within the National Association of Real Estate Brokers (NAREB), the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM), participation in the Diversity in Commercial Real Estate Conference, and graduate status from Project REAP.
