Resolution Real Estate arranges 8,884 s/f long-term lease at 32 Union Sq. East
Manhattan, NY Mitchell Cooperstock, executive director/leasing, and Brett Weiss, director/leasing of Resolution Real Estate, a member of NAI Global, have arranged a 15-year lease for a full-service eye care practice Union Square Eye Center LLC at 32 Union Sq. East. The practice is taking 8,884 s/f, spanning the entire seventh floor of the block-long building located on Park Ave. South between 14th and 15th Sts.
“We welcome this highly regarded eye care group to the building,” said Cooperstock. “They are well-positioned for growth in an area that offers a vibrant mix of residential, student and commercial traffic, and is adjacent to one of the city’s busiest subway hubs.”
Weiss said, “This is a full-service eye care practice offering everything from ophthalmology and optometry services through eye-glass fittings. It has been established in the area for years and already has a loyal patient base. Union Square Eye Care may also benefit from a more accessible location that matches its name.”
Union Square Eye Center will be relocating from 235 Park Ave. South later this year. The practice additionally has a clinic in Harlem.
Representing the tenant were Norman Bobrow and David Badner of Norman Bobrow & Co. The Resolution Real Estate team represented the building owner, S. Klein Family. Asking price for the space was $59 per s/f.
