What recent project, accomplishment or award are you most proud of? My work with SGA at 95 Greene continues to stand out. Previously occupied by Merrill Lynch, the eight-story, 340,000 s/f building creates urban growth opportunity for dynamic pharmaceutical, green tech, ag-tech, healthcare, and medical tenants, helping meet the increasing demand for laboratory and research development space throughout the Tri-State area.

What do you like best about being a woman in the AEC industry? As a woman in the A/E/C industry I am consistently inspired to advocate for equity in the built environment by championing access to engaging professional development opportunities. In doing so, we are able to educate individuals throughout the industry about the importance of inclusive design principles and practices.

What is one of the most exciting developments or innovations impacting the AEC industry right now? Keeping us all on the edge of our seats, Artificial Intelligence technologies bring a spectrum of productivity enhancing tools that improve design visualization, communication, and research. SGA’s internal A.I. Committee continues to test these cutting edge technologies, strategically implementing firm-wide to push boundaries of traditional project design and delivery.

What is your favorite building in New York? Whether 10 Jay (ODA) or the Hurst Tower (Foster), the New York City building’s that best grab my attention and engage me are meaningful restorations of historic structures. These, and many other pieces of reimagined architecture, give our city the distinct expression and personality that inspires on a global scale.
