NYSAR honors Caro of Park Sterling Realty as Alan Yassky Distinguished Service Award winner

Verona, NY The New York State Association of Realtors (NYSAR) honored Leah Caro of the Hudson Gateway Association of Realtors (HGAR) as the Alan Yassky Distinguished Service Award winner during the association’s “Elevate Your Profession” fall business meetings at Turning Stone Resort & Casino.

Caro is the president and principal broker for Park Sterling Realty. She is the fourth winner of the Yassky Award, which recognizes significant industry contributions throughout a Realtors career at the local, state, and national level.

“It’s a huge honor to be acknowledge by my peers,” Caro said. “Many of whom have been serving with integrity and passion for many years as well. I thank you for this honor.” 

Caro was the 2009 president of the Westchester-Putnam Association of Realtors and the 2015 president of the Hudson Gateway Multiple Listing Service. She received HGAR’s first President’s Award in 2013 and was the association’s Realtor of the Year in 2012, Additionally, she was awarded HGAR’s Albert P. Schatz Legislative Award in 2018.

Caro has served NYSAR since 2007 and been an active member of the board of directors. She has been a staunch supporter of the Realtors Political Action Committee (RPAC) and has led NYSAR’s “Hill Visits” to Washington, D.C. for over a decade. She currently serves as federal political coordinator to congressman Jamal Bowman.
