New York, NY Cameron Engineering is merging with IMEG Corp., a 100% employee-owned firm and one of the nation’s largest engineering firms. The merger brings together decades of experience and passion for delivering quality work and developing strong client relationships.

Cameron’s strong client base and presence in the greater New York region will add to IMEG’s 75 U.S. office locations currently spanning from Boston to California — adding to an impressive national portfolio of work across various market sectors. Combining both firms’ mechanical/electrical, structural, civil, transportation, environmental, and planning expertise creates a strong synergy for future growth.

Cameron Engineering founder John Cameron said his firm is excited to become part of IMEG and help establish its New York presence. “The merger provides sustainability and growth potential for all our employees as well as our clients and teaming partners,” he said. “IMEG’s size and expertise also allows us to expand upon the innovative approaches and results-driven solutions we deliver to our clients.”

“We are excited to continue our East Coast expansion and add Cameron Engineering & Associates to our team,” said IMEG president/CEO Paul VanDuyne. “Their full-service capabilities and market sector expertise align perfectly with IMEG, allowing us to serve more clients as a New York corporation.”

Cameron’s leadership of John Cameron and Joe Amato will continue to manage the firm, along with experienced engineering professionals Nick Kumbatovic, Mike Hults, and Rich Zapolski.
