Kittle, Story and Berman sworn in to MBA

David Kittle, CMB, executive vice president of Vision Mortgage Capital was sworn in as the 2009 chairman of the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) at the association's 95th Annual Convention & Expo. Active in the mortgage banking industry since 1978, Kittle started with American Fletcher Mortgage Co. and became a top loan originator before moving to management. In 1994 he opened his own company, Associates Mortgage Group, and sold it in January 2006. Kittle is a former chairman of MORPAC, MBA's political action committee, a former vice chairman of the MBA residential board of governors and is a member of MBA's advisory committee. In addition to Kittle, MBA also elected Robert Story, Jr., CMB, president of Seattle Financial Group, as chairman-elect of MBA and Michael Berman, CMB, president of CWCapital, as vice chairman of MBA. All three officers will serve for the 2008-2009 fiscal year.
