Katz & Associates promote 5 across several offices
CEO Brian Katz of Katz & Associates announced 2023 promotions for advisors across several Katz offices.
Katz said, “2022 was a tremendous year and I’m proud of our entire team. These advisors worked hard for existing clients, uncovered new opportunities, and completed notable sales and leases on behalf of landlords and tenants.”
The promotions include:
- Jonathan Greenberg, Englewood Cliffs, NJ office – now vice president
- Daniel DePasquale, New York City office – now senior director
- Vanesa Rodriguez, Orlando office – now senior director
- Leandro Pereira, Boca Raton office – now director
- Michael Betancourt, Boca Raton office – now director
Greenberg has been with Katz for six years. His focus is on landlord and tenant representation throughout New York and New Jersey. Recent notable work includes: representing Hoboken Theaters in the $13 million sale to Hoboken Grace Community Church in New Jersey; representing landlords at Cortlandt Town Center in Mohegan Lake, NY and at Edgewater Towne Center in Edgewater, NJ; as well as representing tenants including AT&T, Butterflake Bakeshop in Teaneck, NJ, and Diamond Braces.
DePasquale has been with Katz for three years. His focus is on landlord and tenant representation in New York City and Long Island. Recent highlights include: representing landlords in Queens in leases to bring Teso Life and Jollibee, and working with Brian Katz to represent Hobby Lobby for a new 42,768 s/f store in Staten Island that will open in 2023. Most recently, DePasquale has expanded to also represent tenants outside of New York, including in Florida, Massachusetts, and Connecticut.
Rodriguez joined Katz in 2016. Her focus is on leasing new and existing properties, tenant representation, retailer expansions, and outparcel sales. She handles third party leasing for several landlords throughout Central Florida. Recent highlights include: selling outparcels and leasing space for St. Cloud Commons in Kissimmee, and representing retailers including Five Below, Curaleaf, and Skechers.
Pereira joined Katz in July 2019. He is focused on landlord and tenant representation throughout Florida. Recent highlights include: representing landlords – Long Point Realty Partners for Crossroads Square in Pembroke Pines, Center Square Investment for Shoppes at Yamato Corner in Boca Raton, and Brixmor for Marketplace at Wycliffe in Lake Worth, as well as tenant representation for retailers including I Heart Mac & Cheese, NAF NAF Middle Eastern Grill, and Morelia Gourmet Paletas.
Betancourt joined Katz in October 2020. He handles tenant and landlord representation throughout Florida with a focus on Miami Dade. Recent highlights include: landlord representation in Miami Shores, Coral Gables, and Miami Beach; and representing tenants Curaleaf and Dig.
