The Betesh Group signs lease for 18,000 s/f in Ironside Newark
Newark, NJ Edison Properties, a privately-owned real estate holding and development company, has signed a 15-year lease with The Betesh Group, a privately held, multi-million dollar consumer products company, for 18,000 s/f of office space in Ironside Newark.
The Betesh Group will occupy second-floor space fronting Mulberry Commons Park and is expected to move into their new headquarters in Fall 2022. The company will build out the space to house two of its brands – Baby Boom, a manufacturer of baby care products such as diaper bags, and infant-toddler bedding; and Baby Brezza, a manufacturer of innovative infant feeding appliances like formula makers, bottle sterilizers, warmers and food makers. The Betesh Group joins major tenants including Mars Wrigley Confectionery’s North American headquarters, offshore wind energy company Ørsted, design and architecture firm Ware Malcomb, law firms Pearlman & Miranda and Robinson Miller, and the Edison Properties headquarters.

Ironside Newark, located at 110 Edison Pl., is a formerly circa-1907 warehouse that has been redeveloped and restored by Edison Properties into a commercial and retail space across more than 456,000 s/f. Situated directly adjacent to Newark Penn Station and a short distance from Newark Liberty International Airport, Ironside Newark offers access to public transportation. Designed by the New York City-based design and architecture firm Perkins Eastman, Ironside Newark has direct access to the new Mulberry Commons Park, a city-owned park.
Ironside Newark office space is currently 80 percent occupied. The building’s office amenities include future restaurant outdoor seating and exclusive park-level retail fronting the new Mulberry Commons Park, street-level retail along Edison Place, a two-story lobby atrium, rooftop terrace, an unmatched dark fiber optic network, with loft-style and open workspaces making collaboration and connection an experience.
