FDT appoints Alberts co-chair of Tax, Trusts & Estates practice group; promotes Tricolla, Renda and Pappas

Uniondale, NY According to Forchelli Deegan Terrana LLP (FDT) the firm has appointed Stephanie Alberts, partner, co-chair of the firm’s Tax, Trusts & Estates practice group. FDT also promoted of Danielle Tricolla and Robert Renda to partner, and Cora Pappas to a tax, trusts & estates legal assistant.

“I am thrilled that Stephanie has been appointed my co-chair,” said Robert Groman, a partner in FDT’s Tax, Trusts & Estates practice group. “This position will allow her to more effectively handle departmental matters, including the administration of the estates and the litigation regarding estate matters. Both of these promotions are a superb move for the firm and our clients.”

In addition to American, New York State and Nassau County Bar Association memberships, Alberts is a member of the Estate Planning Council of Nassau County and American Business Associates (ABA) of Long Island, Inc. Earlier this year, she was appointed to a two-year term as the co-chair of the NCBA’s Surrogate’s Court Estates and Trusts Committee. Alberts earned her J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law and her B.A. from SUNY Binghamton.

Tricolla co-chairs FDT’s Cannabis practice group and is a member of its Litigation practice group. She earned her J.D. from New York Law School and her B.A. from the University of Maryland.

Renda is a member of the firm’s Real Estate Tax Certiorari practice group. He earned his J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law and his B.S. from St. John’s University.

Pappas is solely responsible for assisting attorneys prepare documents and for court proceedings, liaising between attorneys and clients and onboarding departmental assistants.
