Shavolian of Stellar Development honored

Senior vice president of Stellar Development, Nejat Shavolian was honored in a ceremony that included Senator Craig Johnson, United States controller Thomas DiNapoli, Congressman Gary Ackerman and other state and local officials. This event took place in a Gala Journal Dinner Dance for the Lake Success Jewish Center in which about 250 people attended. Honored guests included New York Assembly Citation Michelle Schimel, Nassau County Legislation Judi Boswarti, and county controller Howard Weitzman. The Journal dinner raised over $120,000 which will be used for the expansion of the facilities of The Lake Success Center located at 345 Lakeville Rd., Great Neck. New plans for the expansion are underway and have been submitted to the Village of Lake Success for final approval. The new expansion will increase the size of the complex by approximately 2,000 s/f. The expansion is set to begin in October and to be completed by March of 2009.The architect for the expansion is James Curtiss AIA. Shelter Rock Builder, LLC will be the general contractor and Stellar Development, LLC will be the construction manager.
