Lebenstein and Wollens of Colliers ABR reps. tenant in 12,500 s/f lease

According to Colliers ABR, Inc., The Fencers Club of New York has signed a 10-year lease for 12,500 s/f of space at 229 West 28th St., taking the entire second floor. The non-for-profit organization plans to relocate from their current location on 119 West 25th St. as soon the new space is ready. David Lebenstein, senior managing director and director, not-for-profit division of Colliers ABR and Debra Wollens, of Colliers ABR, represented The Fencers Club of New York. "We are extremely pleased to help The Fencers Club of New York expand their headquarters to this 12-story, loft-style building," said Lebenstein. "We were able to successfully negotiate for the organization to stay in the neighborhood and move into this great class B office building." Joss Realty Partners, owner of the building, were represented by Barry Bernstein and David Danick of Winoker Realty. The building is located across from the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) and borders the Chelsea and Penn Station submarkets.
