Chazen Companies provides design and construction for Veria Hotel
Veria’s Wellness Hotel, Anawana Lake Road - Thompson, NYThompson, NY Two world class resorts are coming to the Catskills with landmark projects.
The 18-story Montreign casino, hotel and entertainment complex is part of a master plan development named Adelaar. Veria’s Wellness Hotel, located off Anawana Lake Rd., is being developed by Veria Lifestyles, Inc. and is part of a master plan for the former Kutsher’s Hotel and Country Club.
The Chazen Companies is providing design and construction services for the $90 million project. Veria’s 131-room Wellness Hotel will provide its guests with wellness programs including a spa, yoga and nutrition packages. This hotel is located on 450 acres fronting Baileys Lake. The resort is expected to be open by spring 2017.
The projects are expected to create thousands of construction and permanent jobs in an area with one of the highest unemployment rates in the state, and have substantial economic impact to the local commercial and retail community.
These landmark projects join the Monticello Motor Club (MMC), North America’s premier private racetrack and country club as part of the rebranding of the southern Catskills as a resort area 90 minutes from New York City.
