Related Companies' 70 Vestry over 60% sold; Building designed by Robert A.M. Stern Architects

January 13, 2017 - Brokerage

New York, NY According to the Related Companies, over the past seven months it has achieved over $250 million in sales, recording more deals over $10 million than any other downtown development. Recent sales include the 6,547 s/f triplex North Penthouse listed at $50 million. The building is now over 60% sold, accounting for $400 million of residences under contract. The Robert A.M. Stern Architects-designed building is located on the last undeveloped parcel of riverfront land in Manhattan’s coveted Tribeca neighborhood. Only 14 residences remain available for sale in the highly anticipated luxury condominium building.

“70 Vestry has experienced a significant amount of activity since the beginning of December leading to several new deals in that month alone,” said Benjamin Joseph, executive vice president at Related Companies. “The project’s success is a testament to its exceptionally rare waterfront location, exquisite design by an all-star team and our package of amenities that rival buildings twice its size.”

The recently sold North Penthouse offers private elevator access and contains an eat-in kitchen, corner family room, master bedroom suite with two walk-in closets and a dressing room, and the additional three bedrooms with en-suite baths on the lower level. A windowed entertaining kitchen, corner living room with a fireplace, formal dining room, a solarium with wet bar, and a study are situated on the upper level.  The space also features 3,300 square feet of exterior space across three levels, including a private rooftop terrace and outdoor kitchen, offering dramatic city, river and sunset views.

"70 Vestry has undoubtedly the best location Downtown – located on a quiet cobblestone street in Tribeca, but with unobstructed water views over Hudson River Park. Given its boutique nature with private entry courtyard, it also offers the ultimate in privacy and security," said Pam Liebman, CEO of The Corcoran Group, the parent company of Corcoran Sunshine Marketing Group, the co-exclusive sales and marketing agent. "Not surprisingly, it has also become the new ‘It Building', with more sales over $10 million recorded in 2016 than any other new development Downtown."

Preeminent architectural firm Robert A.M. Stern Architects designed the building’s exterior, while AD100 designer Daniel Romualdez who has designed private homes for some of the top names in fashion and beauty brought his experience and craftsmanship to the interiors and amenity spaces.

With privacy and top-of-the-line security paramount, the building will be accessed via a staffed and gated porte-cochere that opens to a private cobblestone garden courtyard and a double-height lobby with 24-hour concierge. The courtyard also provides access to the building’s automated parking garage.

Residents of 70 Vestry will enjoy a wellness level which features an international regulation singles squash court, an 82-foot lap pool, sauna and steam rooms, yoga/Pilates studio and a fitness club offering top of-the-line equipment outfitted by The Wright Fit. Additional amenities on the first floor include a library, café, billiards room, lounge and dining suite as well as The Block at 70 Vestry, a children’s playroom designed by the award-winning Roto Studio, which is curated  to engage children through interactive activities with an art area, climbing structure, ball pit, slide, magnetic wall, and farmers market. 70 Vestry will also have a Dog City pet spa offering a host of day care, grooming, boarding, and walking services for dogs and other select pets.
