Stellar Management signs 1,356 s/f retail lease

Stellar Management has reached a leasing milestone at its newly repositioned commercial property in SoHo, leasing over 16,000 s/f at 123 Lafayette St. According to the firm, Love Hate Social Club has signed a 10-year lease for 1,356 s/f of ground floor retail space. Additionally, with nearly 15,000 s/f of office space recently leased in the past 12 months, the 21,916 s/f boutique building only has one more vacant floor available. "123 Lafayette St. has surpassed our expectations since acquisition," said Adam Roman, Stellar Management's COO. "Following our repositioning of the building and based on current leasing velocity, we're confident that our final available floor will lease quickly." Love Hate Social Club (formerly Wooster St. Social Club) - a high-end tattoo parlor which was featured on TLC's reality show NY INK - relocated to the property from its space on Wooster St. The Club is one of several new tenants that Stellar Management has welcomed in the past year, including Into the Gloss (ITG) - a popular beauty blog - and Glossier - a modern beauty brand and the product arm of ITG. ITG first took the 1,846 s/f penthouse floor with outdoor terraces and later expanded to the entire third floor. Additionally,Mission Media - a media and consumer engagement firm - signed a lease for 4,354 s/f to occupy the entire fourth floor. ITG/Glossier was represented by Michael Schoen, Caroline O'Connell, and Brian Neugeboren of Savitt Partners and Mission Media was represented by Dennis Someck and Justin Myers of Lee & Associates. Ellee Kim of Stellar Management represented ownership in these office transactions. Taryn Talmadge of RKF represented Love Hate Social Club, while Andrew Stern of RKF represented ownership.
