Tsoukalas of Forchelli, Curto, Deegan appointed treasurer of the NCWBF

Forchelli, Curto, Deegan, Schwartz, Mineo & Terrana LLP partner Andrea Tsoukalas has been appointed treasurer to the Nassau County Women's Bar Foundation (NCWBF). The NCWBF is the charitable arm of the Nassau County Women's Bar Association. Founded in June of 2006, the NCWBF has donated over $170,000 to breast cancer research and awareness and awarded over $12,000 in scholarships to worthy law students on Long Island. The foundation is a not-for-profit organization with its own governing board. Tsoukalas joined Forchelli, Curto, Deegan in January of 2005 and became partner in 2011. She concentrates her practice in zoning, land use, environmental and municipal law matters. Tsoukalas represents a variety of clients including national corporate chains, local developers and small business owners in the development of commercial and residential properties. Tsoukalas is general counsel to the Long Island Gasoline Retailers Association, a nationally recognized non-profit trade association with over 600 members. She also serves as counsel to the village of Kensington board of trustees, zoning board of appeals and Architectural Review Board.
