Tomasetti of Thornton Tomasetti to moderate ACEC-NY Panel: "Life Stories: Consulting Eng. as a career path"

Richard Tomasetti, chairman of Thornton Tomasetti, Inc., will moderate a panel entitled "Life Stories: Consulting Engineering as a Career Path," sponsored by the American Council of Engineering Cos. of N.Y. (ACEC-NY) on Thursday, April 10th at 6 p.m. at the Cooper Union School of Engineering's Wollman Auditorium at 51 Astor Pl.
ACEC-NY has assembled a panel of recognized leaders in the consulting engineering industry to share their personal stories about their career paths. Consulting engineers work in many areas: buildings, highways, bridges, systems and technology, energy conservation, telecommunications, clean air and water and sustainability. This program has been organized in partnership with The Cooper Union's Albert Nerken School of Engineering.
The panel will feature personal stories of the career paths of leading engineers including: David Glickman, P.E., president of Glickman Engineering PLLC; Cristina Gonzalez, P.E., principal of Langan Engineering & Environmental Services, P.C.; Walter Mehl, Jr., P.E., partner, Jaros, Baum & Bolles; John Rice, P.E., partner, Atkinson Koven Feinberg Engineers, LLP; Milo Riverso, PhD., P.E., executive vice president of STV Group, Inc.; Jeff Schechtman, P.E., vice president, Parsons Brinckerhoff; and Susan Walter, P.E., principal of Stantec Consulting Services Inc. Opening comments will be delivered by Dr. Eleanor Baum, dean of the Albert Nerken School of Engineering at Cooper Union.
