Studley brokers long-term 37,923 sf lease for Wisdomtree at 245 Park Avenue

According to Studley, WisdomTree Investments, Inc., a New York-based exchange-traded fund sponsor and asset manager, has signed a 15-year, 37,923 s/f lease comprising the entire 35th floor at 245 Park Ave.
The firm will be moving from a 20,000 s/f space at 380 Madison Ave. to the 45-story, 1.7 million s/f office tower within the first quarter of 2014.
Studley executive vice president Matthew Barlow, executive managing director Greg Taubin and assistant director Gabe Marans represented the tenant, WisdomTree, in the long-term leasing transaction. Peter Shimkin of Newmark Grubb Knight Frank and Sarah Pontius of Brookfield Office Properties represented the landlord, Brookfield Office Properties.
"This transaction enables WisdomTree to move into space that can accommodate the firm's rapid growth in New York City," Barlow said, noting that the company's previous building at 380 Madison is undergoing a complete overhaul in February. Studley's Project Management team, led by Ralph Cali, is handling the fast-track construction project which will have WisdomTree constructing and moving within 4 months. Sarah Pontius, vice president of leasing at Brookfield Office Properties said, "We are pleased to add a highly regarded firm like WisdomTree to our impressive tenant roster at 245 Park Ave."
