Cerami promotes four new partners: Perry, Pollock, Babigian and Maniscalco

Cerami has promoted four of its most senior acoustical and technology principals to partner, according to Victoria Cerami, CEO of the global acoustical, audiovisual and technology consultancy.
"The firm's success has always been based on a cohesive team orientation," said Cerami. "This is a firm populated by talented and committed professionals and I am proud that the new partners come from within our own ranks."
The four new members of the Cerami executive team comprise of:
* James Perry (39), chief technical officer, has more than 17 years of experience, including 11 with Cerami. He is considered a leading expert in acoustical and vibration control and is widely recognized for his work in performing arts centers, hospitality venues and healthcare facilities. Among his many Cerami projects are Mt. Sinai Center for Science and Medicine, NY and Mass General's Lunder Building, Boston. He is currently working on the Hudson Yards and World Trade Center development sites.
* Chris Pollock, PE, CTS, LEED AP (36), partner in charge of the Washington, D.C. office, is a design leader in the field of acoustics, noise and vibration consulting. His expertise is in HVAC noise control, vibration isolation, footfall noise control, sound insulation and noise consent applications in all areas of construction, from healthcare and educational institutions to broadcast and recording, and corporate and government facilities. Among his recent projects in Washington, D.C. Metro are the Smithsonian Institute, international law firm Covington & Burling, the USO Warrior and Family Center, Real News Studio and the Gensler offices.
* Peter Babigian, PE RCDD, LEED, AP BD +C (43) has more than 20 years of experience and is recognized for his expertise in strategic planning, design and program management for large technology projects. Most recently, his focus has been on infrastructure systems supporting data centers, trading floors and office facilities ranging from small scale to multi-million s/f fit-outs. Among his most current projects are State Street Bank (Boston), Northwestern Mutual, Covington & Burling, Brookfield Financial Properties, BioTrial Headquarters and a prominent New York law firm. In addition, he is working on the technology system and infrastructure design for a new NHL hockey arena and entertainment venue, as well as a new data center for a large financial firm.
* Albert Maniscalco (42). With more than 15 years as an acoustical consultant, his projects have encompassed corporate interiors, hospitals, and clinical and research centers with such sensitive equipment as MRI and electron microscopes, performing arts facilities, and power generation and co-generation facilities. His recent projects include Young & Rubicam's New York offices, CUNY's Brooklyn College Science Center, the PANY/NJ PATH Washington St. Substation, Jersey City, N.J., and the Solidere International Clubhouse, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The group joins long-time partners Alan Bjornsen and Marc Hochlerin on the executive team, along with the firm's new chief financial officer James Casterton (38). A chartered accountant with more than 16 years of experience, Casterton served as CFO for WSP Sells in New York and was Group Finance Manager in the UK before coming to Cerami this past summer.
