Rosewood Realty closes 2012 with record sales totaling $1.6 billion; Completed 25 deals in December totaling $500 million

Rosewood Realty Group closed 2012 on a record high note. In December the company closed over 25 deals worth $500 million in mostly sales of multifamily buildings in Manhattan, the Bronx, Brooklyn and Queens. And for the entire year, Rosewood founder Aaron Jungreis and his firm's brokers totaled 125 deals worth over $1.6 billion. "2012 was the best year and December was the busiest and best month we ever had," said Jungreis. "Going forward in 2013 we predict the multifamily sales market will be very strong, with activity as good as 2012." The firm's largest December deals included the $158 million sale of a 10 building portfolio sale in the West Village, Lower East Side and the Bronx; a $39.9 million eight building Manhattan portfolio sale; a $32.5 million four-building sale in Astoria, Queens and a $27.9 million three building package sale in Manhattan. Jungreis founded Rosewood Realty Group, a commercial real estate company that specializes in the sales of multifamily, retail and office properties largely in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut in 2007. Some of Rosewood's noteworthy deals in December included: * $158 million: Ten building portfolio in the West Village, Lower East Side and the Bronx.
