According to Houlihan Lawrence, Garry Klein has joined the firm as an associate broker in its newly-established commercial real estate group.
"Over the years, the principals at Houlihan Lawrence have established a top residential brokerage in the region. Seeing this, I knew they could do the same for the commercial brokerage business," said Klein. "I see it as a terrific ground-floor opportunity."
Klein brings over 25 years of experience, including sales and marketing, market research, construction, development and financing to Houlihan Lawrence. In 1995, after over 10 years in the real estate industry, Klein started and operated a residential and commercial real estate brokerage firm, which merged with Cardinal Realty in 1997. He continued at Cardinal as a principal broker until 2000, when he negotiated the sale of the company to Prudential Rand Realty.
While at Prudential, he was consistently in the top 5% of the company in sales as an associate broker and awarded the Legend Award. He managed a team of agents representing residential, commercial and investment properties and also analyzed development projects for landowners, builders and developers, providing his clients with the best possible information to help them make informed decisions.
"Garry's passion for the field and depth of knowledge are unrivaled. He always goes the extra mile for his clients, and they see and appreciate his dedication," said Thomas LaPerch, director of the commercial real estate group. "His addition further strengthens an already solid team."
Currently residing in White Plains with his family, Klein is an active member of the community. He is involved in the Westchester-Putnam Boy Scouts, was appointed to the Executive Board of the While Plains Business Improvement District and works as an Adaptive Ski Instructor in Catamount, NY in his spare time.
