O'Rourke joins Herman Katz as senior counsel

O'Rourke has 24 years of experience devoted exclusively to real property tax matters primarily in the private sector. O'Rourke has also defended property tax matters for municipalities as an attorney for the New York City Corp. Counsel and the Nassau County Attorney's Office. O'Rourke is a member of the New York State Bar Association and Nassau County Bar Association and a former member of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York Tax Certiorari and Condemnation Committee. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in economics with an accounting major, cum laude, from Brooklyn College and a Juris Doctor from New York Law School where Maureen currently serves as a mentor.
