Horizon Engineering Associates hires Seda as director of engineering

Horizon Engineering Associates, LLP (HEA), has hired Keith Seda as the new director of engineering for their northeast region. Seda will manage and oversee four offices throughout New York in Long Island, Albany, Syracuse and HEA's headquarters in Manhattan. With over 20 years of engineering and project management experience, he specializes in commissioning for LEED, existing buildings and new construction; ASHRAE energy audits to satisfy PlaNYC's Local Law 87; and NEBB testing services.
He focuses on commissioning mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems across all industries including healthcare, commercial, manufacturing and higher education.
Seda has previously served in the role of operations manager and corporatemanaging engineer for firms within the New York and New Jersey area. HEA's clients will benefit from his extensive history in supervising all disciplines of engineering from initial design concepts through final construction on a wide range of project scopes and building types.

Mr. Seda holds a Bachelors of Engineering degree from Manhattan College where he specialized in Mechanical Engineering. He is a LEED Accredited Professional as well as a Certified Building Commissioning Professional. He is also working towards becoming a Certified Energy Manager this year.
