July 27, 2010 - Brokerage
Two Trees Management has brokered a 3,387 s/f office lease to BRIC Arts|Media|Bklyn at 45 Main St. in DUMBO.
"BRIC has helped shape the face of Brooklyn's artistic community for over 30 years, and we're thrilled to welcome them to DUMBO," said Zannah Mass, Cultural Affairs director of Two Trees Management. "They will join a growing roster of impressive art galleries, artists, performance venues and other arts organizations in the waterfront community."
As creator and producer of the Celebrate Brooklyn! Performing Arts Festival, a free, summer-long performing arts festival that has been presented at the Prospect Park Bandshell every year since 1979, BRIC is truly a founder of the Brooklyn arts scene. In addition to performances, the non-profit also provides compelling and accessible contemporary art exhibitions, Brooklyn-focused television programming, and education programs as well as subsidized platforms for artists and community members to develop and present new works.
"My colleagues and I are very excited to be spending time in DUMBO among such an extraordinary community of artists and cultural organizations, and are extremely grateful to Two Trees Management for facilitating this move," said Leslie Schultz, executive director, BRIC Arts|Media|Bklyn.
