Blake of Pyramid brokers 9,400 s/f retail lease to Dollar General

Dollar General has opened its fifth Ulster County store at 126 Broadway. The 9,400 s/f store is located in the former IGA Shopping Plaza and shares space in the center with Port Ewen Laundromat. Guy Blake, CCIM, of Pyramid Brokerage Co. brokered the deal. "It's a perfect spot for Dollar General," said Blake. "They like to be in residential neighborhoods and the major area shopping corridor so that people who only need a few items will stop at Dollar General instead of dealing with the traffic and lines at the big-box grocery stores."
