Racanelli Construction completes project for Raymour & Flanigan

May 10, 2010 - Owners Developers & Managers
Racanelli Construction Company, Inc., a leading third-generation construction management, general contractor and design/build resource for commercial, industrial, retail, medical, pre-engineered and multifamily housing projects, has completed the Raymour & Flanigan Furniture store at 1985 Broadway and 66th St. This is the seventh major project Racanelli has completed for the nation's 7th largest U.S. furniture retailer in the past two years. Racanelli Construction Company served as the general contractor on the project, which was led by vice president Martin Racanelli, Jr., project manager Mike Marshall, and project and field superintendent John Costanzo. The project required the demolition of the existing building formerly housing a Circuit City store and the construction of a 40,000 s/f existing building encompassing an open atrium with extensive custom woodwork throughout. The project, which was completed on a 90-day fast track, was valued at over $2 million.
