Phillips Nizer LLP elects Landis as managing partner
Phillips Nizer LLP recently elected Marc Landis as its new managing partner, succeeding Perry Galler, who served for over 20 years. Landis will be the first transactional lawyer to serve as the firm's managing partner and only the second managing partner since the firm was led by its founder Louis Nizer.

His term as managing partner of Phillips Nizer commenced on July 1.
Landis chairs the firm's real estate department and is active in the firm's fashion and entertainment law practices. He serves as general counsel to an acclaimed luxury fashion brand, and maintains a diverse real estate and corporate transactional practice.
Landis graduated from Princeton University and the University of Pennsylvania Law School, and earned a masters' degree in tax law from New York University. He has a long history of civic and governmental involvement, and has been honored for his pro bono work by Manhattan Legal Services, Legal Services of New York and the New York State Bar Association.
