Metro joins VVA as project manager

According to VVA, LLC, the leading project management and consulting firm, Melissa Metro has joined their team of project management professionals as an associate project manager. Metro has a diverse background in design and project management gained over the course of over 12 years in the real estate industry. Most recently, Metro held a position as senior designer for Whidden Silver, Inc. in Manhattan, where she was a member of the team responsible for the design concepts of multiple Bank of America, Sovereign Bank and Cablevision locations. These projects spanned from the greater New York area to Boston, New Jersey and other locations along the East Coast, including One Bryant Park, BOA's headquarters. Metro's responsibilities included continuous project management through field coordination with contractors and full production and coordination of construction drawings with structural and MEP engineers. Irwin Schneider, managing director of VVA said, "Melissa is a great addition to our team. Her background and credentials make her well suited for full service project management and consulting." Metro said, "I am extremely excited to be a part of this team; their loyal client list, strength as an organization and individual backgrounds are quite impressive."
