Meshil of Royal Properties represents Domino’s in 2,686 s/f lease at The Stanton on the Lower East Side

Manhattan, NY According to Royal Properties, Inc., Domino’s signed a five-year lease with three five-year options for 2,686 s/f at The Stanton, 196 Stanton St.

The Stanton is a post-war rental building in the downtown area’s Lower East Side. Built in 1950 and converted to rentals in 2010, this eight-story property is situated between Attorney St. and Ridge St. with 53 residential units. Neighboring retailers include Dunkin’ Donuts, FedEx, AT&T, Baskin Robbins, Burger King and more. Scott Meshil of Royal Properties, Inc. represented the tenant and Kassin Sabbagh Realty represented the landlord.

Founded in 1960, Domino’s is a  recognized leader in pizza delivery operating a network of company-owned and franchise-owned stores in the U.S. and international markets. Royal Properties is representing Domino’s in their search for 1,200 – 2,000 s/f of in-line, end cap, or freestanding spaces in strip centers, power centers, and downtown locations throughout select areas of Manhattan, Westchester, Putnam, Suffolk and Nassau Counties and Fairfield County in Connecticut.

What noteworthy transactions or deals from this year best exemplified key market trends or shifts? I would like to say there was an outstanding transaction for me this past year but 2024 was more a culmination of long-term relationships, most of which continued to transact. Deals were smaller in many cases but we saw robust leasing both on the agency side as well as on the tenant side.
