Meridian Capital hires Heumann to serve as senior operating officer

Daniel Heumann has joined Meridian Capital Group LLC as their managing director, senior operating officer. Heumann, who will be based in the firm's N.Y.C. headquarters, will oversee Meridian's day-to-day operations and promote continued expansion of Meridian's core team of experienced originators. He will contribute to the company's growth by spearheading new ventures and identifying opportunities for joint ventures. Heumann will also oversee Meridian's employee training programs. Before coming to Meridian, Heumann worked with the Kushner Companies, where he served as senior VP director of acquisitions. He directed the company's acquisition process for both real estate and non-real estate transactions, and evaluated existing assets for opportunities to increase their value. Heumann graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Binghamton University with a bachelor's degree in Philosophy, Politics and Law. He attended the Hebrew University Law School in Israel as a Fulbright Scholar and graduated from NYU Law School as a Leslie Glass Scholar.
