Manhattan, NY LCOR, a real estate development and investment firm, promoted of Nick Pasquenza to senior vice president of construction and development. Pasquenza first joined the firm in 2019 and most recently served as director of development and construction.
Pasquenza’s promotion comes as part of a broader expansion within LCOR’s construction and development team in New York. Last fall, the firm brought on Dan Fletcher as senior project manager, to oversee the public work in Hoboken; Shaya Antoniello as assist project manager to manage the turnover of 1515 Surf Ave. in Coney Island; and Amanda Kraczkowsky as project manager to lead a residential high-rise project within the Hoboken development. Additionally, LCOR grew internally, promoting Jad Naufal and Matt Currie to senior project manager positions, where they’ll continue to oversee construction on both existing and new developments.
Pasquenza will be instrumental in overseeing the construction and development teams and ensuring consistency and efficiency across the firm’s developments. In his new role, Pasquenza will oversee all LCOR regions with a focus on identifying, sharing and implementing best practices more uniformly across projects to elevate LCOR’s execution capabilities.
“Nick’s promotion to senior vice president is a testament to his exceptional leadership skills, deep industry knowledge and unwavering commitment to excellence,” said Anthony Barsanti, chief executive officer at LCOR. “We’ve witnessed Nick’s capabilities and are confident he will continue to drive the successful execution of our development and construction initiatives, further enhancing our reputation as a trusted and innovative real estate developer.”
Pasquenza joined LCOR in 2019 as the director of development and construction for the Northeast Region, overseeing Boston to Philadelphia and Miami. Throughout this role, Pasquenza worked alongside the construction department to implement several new processes and design enhancements across LCOR’s portfolio, including building electrification and decarbonization through geothermal heating and cooling, enhanced Building Information Modeling (BIM) execution during the design phase to streamline coordination and minimize exposure to change orders, and advanced construction schedule analysis, improving the ability to identify and address potential issues expediently.
He also piloted several initiatives aimed to support continuous improvement during construction, including workforce monitoring, 3D image capturing, energy monitoring and using Smartsheet for live change order negotiations. His implementation of Northspyre, a cloud-based real estate development software, successfully standardized preconstruction budgeting, incorporating improved cost control functionality into LCOR’s accounting processes.
Most recently, Pasquenza supported the completion of LCOR’s residential development in downtown Philadelphia, The Ryland, the first major development in the Society Hill neighborhood since the 1970s.
With 25 years of commercial construction management experience as both a construction manager and developer, Pasquenza brings a wealth of expertise to LCOR. In previous roles, he’s worked on large-scale projects in Boston, Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, New Jersey and New York City at reputable companies including Midwood Investment and Development, a NYC-based mixed-use developer, Archstone, a national apartment company in Boston and DC, and Turner Construction in Boston. Nick holds an MBA from Boston College and a BS in Civil Engineering from Lafayette College.
