Landes and Kemm of Royal Props. broker two leases: 23,500 s/f total

Nanuet, NY Royal Properties, Inc. has completed two leases:

ALDI Supermarket at Rockland Center, 43 East Rte. 59 held its grand opening.  ALDI transformed a portion of the former Pathmark space into a new 22,000 s/f supermarket. David Landes, principal of Royal Properties and Jeanine Kemm represented the landlord. American Continental Properties (ACP) and Tim McNamara of Sullivan Hayes Cos. represented ALDI. Rockland Center is a 265,000 s/f shopping center, which underwent a transformation in 2017. ALDI joined newly opened TJ Maxx, Sierra and Kirkland’s Home Décor, along with other co-tenants such as HomeGoods, PetSmart, AC Moore, Party City, Big Lots, AutoZone, Lumber Liquidators, McDonald’s, Chili’s, Five Guys and a varied combination of local and regional retailers.  

“ALDI was drawn to this location because of its enormous visibility, traffic counts of over 32,000 cars per day and the strong retail co-tenancy at this shopping center,” said Landes.

Supercuts, Inc. signed a lease for 1,500 s/f at Monroe Plaza, 475 Rte. 17M in Monroe. Monroe Plaza is a 156,475 s/f shopping center in Orange County. Kemm and Landes represented the landlord while Vicki Ezra of The Dartmouth Co. represented the tenant. The center has visibility, high traffic counts and parking. Co-tenants include Stop & Shop, Planet Fitness, Walgreens, AutoZone, Blend Smoothie Bar, Chase, Orange Regional Urgent Care, McDonald’s and many more. 

“Supercuts will be a great addition to our newly signed Tenants which include Planet Fitness, AutoZone, Card$mart and Blend Smoothie Bar at Monroe Plaza.” said Kemm.
