Katz & Associates represents 85°C Bakery Cafe in expansion

Englewood, NJ 85°C Bakery Cafe, with more than 1,000 stores worldwide, is setting its sights on the U.S. East Coast. The Taiwanese bakery cafe has retained Katz & Associates for a U.S. East Coast expansion. Katz’s Amy Staats is representing 85°C Bakery Cafe for stores in New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania.

Staats, in conjunction with Master Broker CCP Real Estate Advisors’ Randall Dawson, just represented 85°C Bakery Cafe in a lease at Brace Road Station in Cherry Hill, NJ for a 2,700 s/f store in a deal with Kimco, the landlord. It’s slated to open in Q2 2024. Staats is currently working on a number of additional leases, and is also seeking sites (3,500 +/- s/f) throughout NJ, NY, and PA.

“We identified the Brace Road Station center in Cherry Hill, NJ based on the market demographics and co-tenancy. Anchored by Hung Vuong Market with other cultural food options, this was an ideal opportunity,” said Staats, vice president, Katz & Associates. “85°C Bakery Cafe does not currently have any drive thru restaurants open, but the opportunity to be freestanding in the center was attractive. While we typically look for end-cap or in-line 3,000 - 3,500-square-foot opportunities, we will consider all options if they make sense.”
