Kalikow Group, WRS Associates and The Ishay Group begin leasing at The Sidney

Brooklyn, NY According to The Kalikow Group, leasing activities have commenced at The Sidney, a new, 68-unit, residential building located at 2415 Church Ave. in the Prospect Lefferts Gardens / Flatbush neighborhood. 

The project was co-developed by The Kalikow Group , WRS Associates and The Ishay Group. MNS is overseeing the leasing activity. 

“We have anticipated this day since our formal groundbreaking in 2017,” said Ed Kalikow, president of Kalikow Group. “The Sidney puts a fresh spin on an established Brooklyn community, located just around the corner from Bedford Ave. and five blocks from Prospect Park. And with a 20-minute commute to downtown Manhattan, residents truly have access to the best of both worlds.”

The boutique building is named after famed New York developer Sidney Kalikow, the patriarch of the branch of the Kalikow family tree that includes Ed Kalikow (Sidney’s son) and Greg Kalikow and Jordan Platt (Sidney’s grandsons).

With luxury finishes, stainless steel appliances and private terraces, The Sidney brings a sense of modernity to the historic community surrounding the southern edge of Prospect Park. Featured lighting throughout the building was designed by Rich Brilliant Willing.

Residents of the studio, one- and two-bedroom units will enjoy access to: Co-work space, tenant lounge, game room, gym, yoga/barre studio, parking, Amazon Hub, bike storage, elevator, roof terrace with BBQ grills, package room, laundry room and pets are allowed. Select apartments include in-unit washer/dryers, heated floors and private outdoor terraces.
