IREM NYC webinar and meet n’ greet - July 10, 2024

Manhattan, NY On July 10th, IREM NYC hosted complimentary webinar: Get the Lead Out!

Complimentary webinar by IREM NYC industry partner Neal Altman of NAJO delivered an update on NYC HPD's Lead-Based Paint inspection requirements and dove into the intricacies of Local Law 31, specifically outlining the upcoming August 2025 deadline for XRF inspections in buildings constructed before 1960. Altman talked about the strides management companies and owners are making towards compliance and shed light on the latest developments, such as Local Law 111, which now mandates XRF testing in all tenant-accessible common areas, extending its scope to co-ops and condos. Additionally, new directives concerning the abatement of lead in apartments occupied by children were discussed.

Later on that same day, IREM NYC held a meet ‘n greet at The Standard Biergarten at 848 Washington St., NYC for a casual gathering.
