IREM NYC's DEI series: Women in Property Management

Queens, NY IREM NYC hosted the next installment of their Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion series. Women in Property Management focused on the challenges women face in property management and how we can work together to create a more equitable and inclusive industry. The discussion was moderated by Carol Goodman, partner at Herrick, Feinstein.

The panel of six IREM members included Tarshia Champagne, CPM, ARGO Real Estate; Stephanie Caulfield, CPM, ARM, Kimco Realty; Sharon Hart Fanelli, CPM, New York Life Investors; Farrah Forbes, CPM, Newmark; Jessica Tusing, CPM, ARM, ARGO Real Estate and Gail Duke, CPM .

A range of important topics, including equal pay, discrimination and gender bias, working motherhood, sexual harassment, education, and career barriers were discussed openly and honestly.

Attendees had the opportunity to ask questions and share their own experiences.
