IREM NYC holds course: “Fair Housing in NYC: What you need to know”

New York, NY Housing discrimination is illegal, plain and simple and it’s morally imperative and legally important that we all understand and abide by the law. With this in mind, IREM NYC conducted a virtual course titled, “Fair Housing in NYC: what you need to know.”

The three-hour course, which qualifies for three NYS continuing education credits, was taught by Linda Lugo, the broker/owner of Realty Masters North Shore in Huntington. Lugo has been licensed since 1987, and has been an instructor of many different real estate topics since 2010.  The course educated attendees about Federal Fair Housing, New York Human Rights Law, and New York City specific fair housing regulations.
