Edelman joins Olshan Frome Wolosky as partner

Ari Edelman

Manhattan, NY Olshan Frome Wolosky LLP welcomes Ari Edelman as a partner in the firm’s corporate/securities law group. Edelman’s career has entailed experience in domestic and global capital markets matters, securities regulation, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate governance.

Edelman joins Olshan from McDermott Will & Emery LLP, where he was a partner in the transactions practice group. Throughout his career, Edelman has closed over 100 capital market transactions, encompassing initial public offerings, pre-IPO equity financings, private equity deals, M&A transactions, and issues of secured debt. In his legal practice, he has represented underwriters, issuers, and placement agents. Edelman has supported various companies in fields ranging from healthcare to energy, among many others, on issues of corporate governance, disclosure compliance, and meeting reporting requirements.

“Ari’s experience supporting public companies, banks and financial institutions in high-stakes transactions is both extensive and impressive,” said Mitchell Raab, a partner and chair of the firm’s corporate/securities law practice. “Olshan is pleased to welcome Ari as a partner in our New York office.”

Edelman was recognized as a “Recommended Lawyer” in The Legal 500 United States Guide in Finance - Capital Markets: Equity Offerings — advice to issuers in 2023. He earned his B.A. from Yeshiva University and his J.D. from Fordham University School of Law, where he served as a member of the Fordham Urban Law Journal.
