Chick-fil-A breaks ground in Cutler Bay, FL

Cutelr Bay, FL Chick-fil-A is breaking ground for a new restaurant. Chick-fil-A’s Dustin Griffiths and Katz’s David Emihovich represented Chick-fil-A in the lease along with owner/developer Michael Berkowitz of Berkowitz Development Group and Landsea Development Group’s Douglas Landsea. This is the third Chick-fil-A deal Berkowitz and Emihovich have completed in Miami-Dade County, including two previous (Aventura and West Kendall).

The new Cutler Bay location (4,800 s/f; 18240 S. Dixie Hwy.) is part of Chick-fil-A’s expansion in the market. The Cutler Bay Chick-fil-A (formerly a Burger King) is one of four new Chick-fil-A restaurants anticipated to break ground in the area this year; other locations include: Miami Shores, Pinecrest, and Princeton.

“Miami remains a very important focus for Chick-fil-A, and they are excited for these new restaurants to serve the communities,” said Emihovich, managing partner, Katz & Associates.
